Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing James McAtee from Manchester City in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. McAtee will leave Premier League club Man City, and Bundesliga outfit Dortmund are keen on securing his services.
Dortmund, though, are not the only German club that are interested in McAtee this summer. Eintracht Frankfurt are also reported to want the 22-year-old Englishman as well. Talks between Man City and McAtee over a new contract have failed, with the midfielder set to become a free agent at the end of next season.
According to TBR, Man City want £20million for McAtee, who has scored seven goals in 34 appearances for the Cityzens’ first team so far in his career. McAtee reportedly believes that he can be part of the England squad for the 2026 World Cup finals. RB Leipzig and VfB Stuttgart are also said to be interested in McAtee.
