Where Has Home-Field Advantage Gone For NFL Teams? | FOX Sports
Some teams are good enough to be good everywhere. The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, who have met in two of the past three Super Bowls, are perfect examples of that. Philadelphia is 24-10 at home and 24-10 on the road over the past four seasons, and Kansas City is close, going 27-7 at home and a league-best 25-9 on the road.
2025 fantasy football running back rankings | PFF
29. Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs
Isiah Pacheco scored the 15th-most fantasy points in 2023 but couldn’t build on that momentum after an injury took away half of his season, and he wasn’t nearly as effective upon his return. The Kansas City Chiefs retained Kareem Hunt and brought in Elijah Mitchell, which gives Pacheco some competition on early downs, but they also didn’t re-sign Samaje Perine, opening the door for someone to step up in passing situations. The general appeal of a Chiefs running back is that they are typically a high-scoring offense, so even though they pass the ball a lot, their running back should score a lot of touchdowns. The offense hasn’t scored as many points in the last two seasons, but that could change this year with a healthy wide receiver room. There’s a chance he gets back to his 2023 form, scoring potentially more touchdowns, but there is also a chance he is in an ugly three-man backfield that changes from one week to the next, making it impossible to know if or when you can start him. There are plenty of scenarios in between, making him a fine gamble outside of the top-24 running backs.
Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes Gives Credit Where Credit is Due | SI
That being said, Mahomes recently joined T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert on Sidekicks Conversations to discuss several things. When Sievert asked Mahomes to take him behind the scenes of the Chiefs’ success, he had a very clear answer as to where the success stems from.
“It starts with Coach Reid,” Mahomes told Sievert. “It starts with the organization that we’re in, and he has a standard that every single day you’re coming there to get better or get worse. And I think we hold each other to that standard.”
“There’s a belief, whenever you start winning, whenever you start having success, you believe in each other. And I think that’s something that’s extremely important, is that we have a belief in each other that we’re going to find a way to win, no matter how the game is going, the outcome will always be in our favor.”
The best NFL draft pick ever at every slot from No. 1 to 262 | ESPN
50. Willie Lanier, LB (1967)
A classic apples to oranges comparison here, picking between Lanier — a ‘70s middle linebacker with eight All-Pros and a Super Bowl IV victory — and Calais Campbell, who is playing his ball 40 years after Lanier. Campbell’s argument is longevity, whereas Lanier was dominant in his time. The official Hall of Fame site tells me his nickname was literally “Contact.” That’s sick.

87 – Travis Kelce
Would it be crazy to pass the honor of representing No. 87 to a younger, spryer tight end like Sam LaPorta or T.J. Hockenson? Probably not, to be honest. But let’s face it: As long as Kelce is suiting up for the Chiefs, people are going to be paying attention; that means fans and opposing defenses.

Steelers GM Omar Khan under contract through 2028 with new deal | ESPN
“Omar and his team have done a great job over the past three years in constructing our roster through the NFL Draft, strategic trades, and free agency. We look forward to continuing that trend that will lead to even more success on the field,” Steelers president Art Rooney II said in a statement Thursday.
Khan, 48, was hired as the Steelers’ general manager in 2022, replacing Kevin Colbert, who stepped down after 12 seasons. This is Khan’s 25th season with the franchise.
The Steelers are 29-22 in Khan’s three seasons as GM and have made the postseason in each of the past two years. Pittsburgh lost in the wild-card round both times.

Chiefs News: Creed Humphrey lands on NFL’s ‘Top 100’ list
Over the years, the NFL has unveiled the “NFL Top 100” in various ways. In 2025, the league partnered with X, planning to announce two players every weekday, leading up to the top 10, which will be broadcast on NFL Network on Monday, September 1, at 7 p.m. Arrowhead Time.
“When you want to get in this league, and you want to play in this league, you got to understand you’re going to come across dudes who are elite talents, but you got to be willing to face them and want to face them,” said Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley in the video. “That should make you want to be on that field, make you want to be better. That is Creed. That’s the dude I want to compete against because he’s at the top of his position.”
The 26-year-old earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2022 and was named a first-team All-Pro for the 2024 season. He was integral in leading Kansas City’s offensive line in their back-to-back Super Bowl championship victories.
