The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 continues to capture global attention, delivering a spectacle unlike any other as top clubs from around the world face off in the United States. With the Round of 16 now concluded, only eight teams remain in contention for the first-ever expanded edition of the tournament.

Borussia Dortmund secured their spot in the final eight with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Monterrey, setting up an exciting slate of quarterfinal matchups:

The biggest surprise of the tournament came courtesy of Al Hilal, who stunned Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City with a thrilling 4-3 victory in extra time. It was a historic win—not just for the Club World Cup, but for Saudi Arabian football on the global stage.

Time and venue for the quarterfinals

The quarterfinals of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 are scheduled to take place on July 4 and 5. Following a brief two-day break, the remaining Brazilian, Saudi Arabian, and European contenders will battle it out for a place in the semifinals—where significant prize money and prestige await.

Games on Friday, July 4

The quarterfinal action begins with Fluminense taking on Al Hilal at 3 PM ET. This highly anticipated clash between the Brazilian and Saudi sides will be played at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

Later that evening, Palmeiras will go head-to-head with Chelsea in a marquee matchup set for 9 PM ET. Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia will host the showdown, with both teams eyeing a semifinal berth.

Games on Saturday, July 5

Saturday’s action kicks off with one of the tournament’s most anticipated fixtures—Paris Saint-Germain vs. Bayern Munich at 12 PM ET. The European powerhouses will meet at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta in what many are calling the potential game of the tournament.

The quarterfinal stage wraps up with Real Madrid taking on Borussia Dortmund at 4 PM ET. After drawing a massive crowd in Miami, Los Blancos will face the German side at MetLife Stadium in New York, closing out a thrilling round of elite matchups.
