Manchester United Women’s Ella Toone scored a brace as England thrashed Jamaica 7-0 in their warm-up to Euro 2025.

Toone was in sensational form, putting in a performance that will make it incredibly hard for England manager Sarina Wiegman to leave her out of the Lionesses’ first eleven against France on Saturday.

Her first goal was a classic Toone long range effort that curled past the Jamaican keeper after only ten minutes.

The 25 year old hasn’t had her best season for United but she looked on top form as she cheekily chipped in England’s third goal just before half-time.

As the ball broke to her in the penalty box, she shifted the ball onto her left foot and delicately planted the ball into the bottom corner via the post.

Toone was also impressive on the ball, having 57 touches and completing 91% of her passes.

She also played one key pass and had 100% success with her long ball attempts.

The midfielder was a constant threat as she had three shots on target and two blocked efforts. She had little to do from a defensive perspective but did win her only ground duel.

Her United teammate Grace Clinton was subbed on after 75 minutes of action and completed 88% of her passes.

Despite her limited time on the pitch, she made one key pass and completed all her dribble attempts.

The midfielder also won her only ground duel in an impressive cameo.

United captain Maya Le Tissier was left on the bench but will hope to play a bigger role when the Euros kick off in earnest.
