The Boston Celtics are continuing to build out their Summer League roster with a wave of undrafted free agents. The team has added Penn State’s Zach Hicks, Gonzaga’s Ben Gregg and St. John’s Aaron Scott to the mix.

According to Bobby Manning of CLNS Media and CelticsBlog, the current roster heading to Las Vegas also includes Baylor Scheierman, Jordan Walsh, Miles Norris, and second round picks Amari Williams and Max Shulga.

It remains unclear whether first-round pick Hugo González or two-way signee Drew Peterson will participate in Summer League action.

Hicks, a 6-foot-8 forward, started all 31 games for Penn State last season and averaged 11.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2 assists per game. He shot an efficient 47.1% from the field and 41.3% from beyond the arc, posting a 65.5% true shooting percentage.

Scott, a 6-foot-7 guard, played his senior season at St. John’s after transferring from North Texas. He averaged 8.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1 assist per game, with a slight statistical dip from his junior campaign (11 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists). Despite the drop, Scott brings NBA size and averaged over a steal per game in his lone Big East season.

Gregg, a 6-foot-10 big man from Gonzaga, also worked out for the Celtics prior to the draft. While he struggled from three-point range this past season (27.1%), he shot 37.7% from deep as a junior. If he can rediscover that stroke, his ability to stretch the floor could help him land a contract. Gregg hails from Clackamas, Oregon—just 13 miles from where Celtics guard Payton Pritchard grew up in Tualatin.
