Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo has informed his employers and other suitors, including Tottenham Hotspur, that he only wants to join Manchester United this summer.
United have been locked in talks with Brentford over a deal for Mbeumo and according to David Ornstein, the Red Devils’ recently improved offer was also rejected.
Talks between the two sides remain ongoing and Mbeumo has informed the Bees that his plan is to move to Old Trafford, thwarting whatever hopes they may have had of sparking a bidding war.
