The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially revealed the eagerly awaited tour of Bangladesh. Bangladesh recently visited Pakistan for the white-ball series, and now the Men in Green will travel to Bangladesh for the T20I series next month.

The PCB confirmed that the Pakistan National Cricket Team will travel to Bangladesh for the three-match T20I series. The Men in Green will land in Dhaka on July 16 forthe three-match T20I series scheduled at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan to visit Bangladesh for 3 T20Is in July

All three T20Is will be played at the iconic venue Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on July 20, 22, and 24. This tour will mark Pakistan’s return to international cricket after a short break and presents a valuable opportunity for both teams to fine-tune their strategies ahead of the Asia Cup 2025.

However, this T20I series wasn’t part of the ICC Future Tours Programme (FTP). This series was confirmed after discussions between the PCB and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which was held in Pakistan and the UAE.

Recently, Bangladesh traveled to Pakistan for a three-match T20I series, and Litton Das’ team was whitewashed by the hosts. It was the first official assignment for Pakistan’s new white-ball head coach, Mike Hesson.

Pakistan will face West Indies in the white-ball series after Bangladesh tour

After completing their white-ball tour of Bangladesh, they are scheduled to take on the West Indies in another white-ball series. Interestingly, the three T20Is against the West Indies are planned to be played in the United States, scheduled for July 31, August 2, and August 3.

On the other hand, the ODI series between Pakistan and the West Indies was originally scheduled for August 8, 10, and 12 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad, but it is likely that they will be replaced by T20Is, keeping in mind the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

The PCB and Cricket West Indies (CWI) are currently discussing this possibility to allow both sides better preparation for next year’s mega event. If approved, Pakistan will play more than six T20Is through July and August, offering both match practice and experimentation before the big events.

Here’s the schedule for the Bangladesh vs Pakistan T20I series:

20 July – 1st T20I, Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka

22 July – 2nd T20I, Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka

24 July – 3rd T20I, Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka

Presently, the Bangladesh cricket team is in Sri Lanka for a bilateral series. The first Test between the two teams ended in a draw, and they are currently up against each other in the second and final Test in Galle. Following the Test leg of the tour, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will play three ODIs from July 2.

After winning the toss, the Tigers opted to bat first, and their current score read 200/7 against the Islanders. On the other hand, Pakistani players are currently busy playing overseas tournaments.
