Jadon Sancho is one Manchester United player everyone will be watching closely this summer.

Following a season-long loan at Chelsea, the Englishman has returned to Old Trafford, but he is not expected to stay for long.

INEOS are reportedly ready to offload him this summer, with a price tag of €25 million [£21 million] placed on his head.

The desire to move the former Borussia Dortmund winger is said to be so strong that Rúben Amorim does not want him involved in United’s pre-season tour of the United States.

There has been notable progress surrounding his exit, with much of the momentum emanating from Italy.

The Peoples Person relayed reports suggesting Napoli may be the 25-year-old’s preferred destination; however, Juventus are working to hijack that deal.

While INEOS were gearing up for a transfer tug-of-war, a significant update from Corriere dello Sport has added further intrigue to Sancho’s Serie A links.

Juventus still blown away by Sancho

According to the Italian outlet, Juventus remain eager to revive their failed 2024 pursuit of Sancho.

They have not let go of the fact that the United number 25 snubbed them for Chelsea last summer, and the fresh wave of rumours has only heightened their desire.

This time, they need not worry about competing with Chelsea, but they still face stiff competition.

Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, several Saudi Pro League clubs, and Napoli are all believed to be monitoring the situation.

Yet Corriere dello Sport claim Napoli may no longer pose a serious threat, with the Italian champions thought to have cooled their interest in the United loanee, who registered five goals and 10 assists during the 2024-25 campaign.

While Juventus are preparing to win that transfer race, the deal hinges on what happens with Francisco Conceição and Nico González.

Conceição could become Sancho’s Juventus teammate

On loan from FC Porto, Conceição impressed during the final stretch of the league season and has made a bright start at the FIFA Club World Cup.

Juventus general manager Damien Comolli is said to be eager to sign the Portuguese forward on a permanent basis.

However, Porto’s €30 million [£25 million] asking price remains a sticking point.

Reports suggest Comolli is pushing for a discount, though he may ultimately end up agreeing to the full fee if necessary.

González to be sold?

González is expected to be sold this summer. Should he depart, Juventus would quickly shift their focus to Sancho as a direct replacement.

Encouragingly, Football Italia reported on Friday that Lazio is expressing an interest in the 27-year-old.

INEOS will be hoping that Juventus sorts out the futures of both players swiftly while keeping their fingers crossed that personal terms will not be an issue this time around between Sancho and the Bianconeri.
