Keep track of Game 6 of the 2025 NBA Finals, as the Oklahoma City Thunder look to close out the series and win the franchise’s first title in OKC.
The Oklahoma City Thunder (68-14), the top seed in the Western Conference, and the No. 4 Eastern Conference seed Indiana Pacers (50-32) enter game 6 with OKC leading the series, 3-2.

4th Quarter: Pacers, Thunder
7:17 — McConnell has 12 points, nine rebounds, six assists and three steals, as he has been a spark for the Pacers’ bench, which completely out-played OKC’s bench. (99-72, Indy)
9:26 — It looks like Haliburton is done for the night, as he finishes with 14 points and five assists. He converted 3-of-7 3-pointers and gave the Pacers a big lift. (93-65, Indy)
3rd Quarter: Pacers 90, Thunder 60
0:00 — Sheppard nails a 3-pointer at the buzzer after an offensive rebound by Siakam and a tip pass by Nembhard. It’s now the biggest lead of the game and it doesn’t look like OKC can overcome this deficit.
1:07– Although Indiana is not playing at a frenetic pace, OKC hasn’t been able to further cut into its deficit. Indiana challenging every shot and OKC is 2-of-18 from 3-point range. The lead for Indiana got to as big as 28.
5:15 — OKC gets the deficit to under 20 points (73-54) on a 3-pointer by Isaiah Joe following the technical foul call. (73-54, Indy)
5:25 — Bradley is called for a technical foul for shoving Hartenstein after a turnover. Bradley felt he was fouled prior to the play. The Indiana crowd is not happy and McConnell is not happy at his teammate for giving OKC any sort of momentum. (73-51, Indy)
5:55 — You wonder at what point can coach Carlisle afford to pull Haliburton for Game 7? It’s close to getting to that point. Then again Indiana doesn’t want to take any chances. (73-48, Indy)
7:15 — Turner scores his first field goal on a dunk and Ben Sheppard gets behind the defense and Indiana is on the verge of completely blowing this game wide open. Will OKC concede or work hard to make a comeback. We haven’t had a Game 7 in the finals since 2016. (70-42, Indy)
8:20 — Both teams till haven’t scored in the period. The first basket comes at 8:06 mark on a Haliburton bank shot. Hali now has a team-high 14 points, as eight players have scored for Indiana. (66-42, Indy)
10:00 — If OKC comes back to win this game, it will be the biggest comeback win in NBA Finals history. Both teams opening the quarter missing a bevy of 3-pointers. No points in the first two minutes.
Halftime: Pacers 64, Thunder 42
Analysis: The host Pacers outscore OKC, 36-17, in the second quarter to take complete control of the game. The storyline has been Indiana’s bench scoring and taking care of the basketball. Indiana’s bench has outscored OKC’s, 19-3, and OKC has 12 turnovers and Indiana has two. The Pacers have also made 9-of-24 3-pointers, while OKC has made 1-of-11.
2nd Quarter: Pacers 64, Thunder 42
:43 — Haliburton comes up with a steal and a no-look cross court pass to Siakam for a monster dunk. Then right before the halftime buzzer, Siakam nails a 18-footer and Indian goes into halftime in complete control. (64-42, Indy)
1:26 — The lead gets up to 58-39, but OKC’s Williams converts a difficult conventional 3-point play to stop the bleeding. Haliburton answers with a field goal. (60-42, Indy)
2:32 — Haliburton rocks and nails a 28-foot 3-pointer and then Turner comes up with a blocked shot on a Holmgren jumper and Indiana is in control. (56-39, Indy)
3:37 — Nesmith converts a conventional 3-point play for Indiana after a foul by Williams. (51-35, Indy)
4:16 — Coach Carlisle challenges a foul called on Turner on a short key shot by Hartenstein. Indiana wins the coach’s challenge. The call is reversed and Indiana gains possession and there is no foul on Turner. (48-35, Indy)
4:33 — Terrific hustle plays by Indiana and a steal by Haliburton leads to a corner 3-pointer by Nesmith on a play where the ball didn’t touch the ground after the steal. (48-35, Indy)
5:22 — Chet Holmgren misses a chippie alley-oop lay-up and Aaron Nesmith makes OKC pay with a 3-pointer. (45-33, Indy)
7:20 — McConnell hits his third pull-up 7-footer in the key off the same move, and then OKC’s Cason Wallace gets stripped and Haliburton nails a 3-pointer and then Alex Caruso is called for a pushing foul. Tony Bradley with an offensive rebound put back off a McConnell miss and Indiana’s bench is giving the Pacers a lift. Timeout on the floor. (41-33, Indy)
9:29 — Gilgeous-Alexander and Williams score on back-to-back ball fake buckets and coach Carlisle doesn’t like it and takes a timeout. (32-31, Indy)
10:55 — McConnell with back-to-back buckets, a spinning lay-up and pull up in the key for the Pacers. (32-27, Indy)
1st Quarter: Pacers 28, Thunder 25
2.1 — Gilgeous-Alexander weaves through the key and makes a contested shot and OKC is only down a possession after one quarter. Indiana closed the quarter a bit poorly in terms of execution. (28-25, Indy)
36.9 — Shai Gilgeous-Alexander makes a contested jumper in the key, and the Indiana fans looking for an offensive foul. Then after a turnover, Indiana doesn’t convert, and on the other end Gilgeous-Alexander gets fouled and goes to the line. (28-23, Indy)
2:15 — Aaron Wiggins makes a big 3-pointer in transition for OKC (26-20, Indy)
4:16 — Haliburton knocks down a contested 3-pointer and lets off a shrug as to say “finally” and its gives Indiana a boost. Timeout on the floor. (24-17, Indy)
4:56 — Obi Toppin comes off the bench and immediately knocks down a 3-pointer, but Hartenstein answers with a shot in the key. T.J. McConnell steals an inbounds pass in the backcourt and Toppin knocks down another 3-pointer. (21-15, Indy)
6:17 — Pacers go on a 8-0 run to tie the game and then take the lead on the second consecutive 3-pointer by Andrew Nembhard, who then makes another field goal, his third consecutive to put the crowd in a mini-frenzy. (15-12, Indy)
8:02 — It’s another slow offensive start for the Pacers and it will have to play from behind once again. Pascal Siakam gives Indiana its first field goal on a straight-away jumper. (10-5, OKC)
8:59 – Jalen Williams with a spin move, away from the defenders and OKC has been executing better. Carlisle calls a timeout for Indiana, which is now 0-of-6 from the field. (8-2, OKC)
9:41 – Nice drive by Myles Turner, but at this juncture Indiana still hasn’t made a field goal. (4-1, OKC)
11:35 – Isaiah Hartenstein called for away from the ball foul – one shot plus possession, but Indiana didn’t capitalize after Haliburton made the free throw. The crowd for Indiana is into the game right away. (2-1, OKC)

Based on pre-game warmups, Tyrese Haliburton is clearly not 100 percent, but he is going to give it a go. Coach Rick Carlisle will have to make a decision based on his contributions how much he plays.
