Senegalese center Mouhamed Faye has withdrawn as an Early Entry Candidate from the 2025 NBA Draft. Faye will now explore NCAA and other professional opportunities for next season.
The 6-foot-10 big man averaged 9.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks across all competitions for Reggio Emilia in Italy last season. Faye also shot 65.3% from the field across those 47 games.
Faye was ranked 54th on ESPN’s Top 100 for the upcoming draft. That had the 20-year-old center in the mix to be drafted in the second round.
The deadline for candidates to withdraw as Early Entry Candidates for the 2025 NBA Draft is 5:00 PM ET on Sunday, June 15. NCAA players had to withdraw last month in order to maintain eligibility for next season.
