Kevin Holland has already fought three times in 2025, and has two more names on his mind to share the UFC octagon with.
Holland opened up the main card at Saturday’s UFC 316 event by submitting Vicente Luque in the second round of their welterweight contest. The first of two pay-per-views this month took place at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
Following the win, Holland called for a fight with Colby Covington, which he explained speaking with reporters backstage following the victory.
“Yeah, I think it would be a good one,” Holland said. “I know their doing [The Ultimate Fighter] right now with Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen, but to be honest with you, they can really cancel that one. They can just do me and Colby. … It’s like, anything you want to do with me and Colby, it’ll sell. It can be a lot of fun, it can be a lot of shit talking, it can be whatever the case needs to be, but I think me and Colby does numbers.
“We’d be the highest Fight Night, and if we were on a pay-per-view, co-main event, we’d help sell that thing out. You wouldn’t even need a stacked undercard.”
Holland also addressed a potential fight with Carlos Prates, the kinds of fights he’s looking for moving forward, and more. Watch the full scrum in the video above.
