Unlike many in combat sports, Jake Paul is naturally gifted at keeping his name in the headlines. Despite having his sights set on his next outing in the ring, Jake has generated a buzz around his name after having a back-and-forth with a former boxing world champion.
This isn’t the first time ‘The Problem Child’ has found himself in hot water with some of boxing’s elites. The 28-year-old has been in a constant war of words with several notable names in the combat sports world, with Canelo Alvarez and Conor McGregor being just two of the many fighters in question.
Alongside the recurring feuds he has been involved in, Jake Paul now has a new name to worry about. During a recent video shared on his YouTube channel, former WBC, IBF, and WBA (Unified) champion Carl Froch claimed ‘Fake Paul’ was scared of any potential fight between the two.
“‘Fake Paul’ is in denial,” Froch said. “He doesn’t want to acknowledge that he knows who I am. Even though we all know, he completely knows who ‘The Cobra’ is.”
“He doesn’t want to acknowledge it in case it comes to [the point] that he might have to fight me, or somebody might say, ‘Listen, ‘Fake Paul’, it’s time to fight Froch.'”
“He doesn’t want to entertain the conversation because he knows what will happen. He knows it’ll be game over for his little fake career, his little f***ing bogus career.”

After navigating through the hate following his win over Mike Tyson, Jake Paul returns to the ring to face another ageing veteran.
Jake will collide with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in a 10-round cruiserweight bout on June 28. The clash will take place in Anaheim, California, and as expected, hasn’t been met with open arms by boxing fans around the world.
