The World Boxing Association (WBA) is set to make history in Latin American boxing with the inaugural Fedelatin Convention, taking place in Buenos Aires from June 12 to 15. As part of the festivities, the WBA’s famed “KO to Drugs” Festival will feature two action-packed fight nights on June 13 and 14 at Casino Buenos Aires, right in the heart of Argentina’s capital.

At least 14 bouts have already been confirmed, with more expected to be added. Several of these contests will be for regional titles under the WBA banner, setting the stage for two nights of high-stakes, high-quality action showcasing the best of the region’s rising talent.

Friday, June 13 – Key Fights:

• John Lenon Gutiérrez vs. José Muñoz – WBA Continental Americas Lightweight Title

• Erislandy Álvarez Borges vs. Eduardo Costa Do Nascimento – WBA Fedelatin Super Featherweight Title

• Jackson Murray vs. Leandro Daniel Robutti – WBA Continental Heavyweight Title

• Deontae Pettigrew vs. Roberto Osvaldo Peralta – WBA Fedelatin Heavyweight Title

Saturday, June 14 – Featured Bouts:

• Enzo Marcelo Delgado vs. Félix Batista San Juan – WBA Regional Super Featherweight Title

• Hebert Conceição Sousa vs. Omar Gabriel Díaz – WBA Fedelatin Super Middleweight Title

• Hamsat Shadalov vs. Lázaro Ramiro Escobar – WBA Regional Super Featherweight Title

• Micaela Milagros Luján vs. Ayelén Micaela Granadino – WBA Regional Flyweight Title

This convention and its twin fight nights reaffirm the WBA’s commitment to boxing development across Latin America. By creating meaningful opportunities for emerging talent and investing in the sport’s grassroots infrastructure, the WBA is helping shape the future of boxing in the region. Expect fireworks in Buenos Aires—this is more than a convention; it’s a celebration of Latin boxing’s next generation.
