July 19 is going to be a busy night for combat sports.
Professional Fighters League (PFL) recently rescheduled its PFL Africa card from July 26 to July 19, which puts it head-to-head with the UFC 318 pay-per-view (PPV) card in New Orleans, headlined by the Dustin Poirier vs. Max Holloway trilogy, as well as boxing’s Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois PPV rematch at Wembley Stadium.
PFL Africa is booked for GrandWest Arena in Cape Town, South Africa, featuring first-round matchups in the heavyweight and bantamweight divisions. In addition, undefeated middleweight titleholder Johnny Eblen (16-0) battles Costello van Steenis (16-3), not long after unbeaten 2024 PFL champion Dakota Ditcheva (14-0) collides with Sumiko Inaba (8-1).
