The 2025 NFL schedule has been released.
With the matchups set, let’s take a look at how Vegas bookies see the Giants and Jets’ seasons playing out, with odds via FanDuel Sportsbook.
New York Jets win total
The Jets, who will open their season against the Steelers — and potentially Aaron Rodgers — aren’t expected to be much improved in 2025.
After finishing 5-12 last season, Gang Green has an over/under win total of 5.5, one of the lowest projections in the league.
Luckily for Aaron Glenn in his first season in New York, the Jets’ schedule is on the light side, drawing non-division contests against the Panthers, Browns, Jaguars and Saints, all of whom aren’t anticipated to be playoff contenders.
With months to go before Week 1, the Jets have the third-longest odds (+490) to make the postseason at FanDuel.
New York Giants win total
The Giants find themselves in a similar boat to the Jets.
Brian Daboll’s club also has an over/under of 5.5 wins, but they feature significantly more juice on the under, meaning oddsmakers are expecting a slightly worse season for Big Blue.
Unlike the Jets, the Giants have the hardest schedule in the league due to their NFC East battles and matchups with other divisions, according to 2024 winning percentages.
Betting on the NFL?
In addition to their usual pair of games against the tough Eagles, Commanders and Cowboys, the Giants will take on the AFC West — the Chiefs, Chargers, Broncos and Raiders — one of the NFL’s top divisions.
The Giants appear to only have two “easy” opponents on the schedule — the Patriots and Saints — although it doesn’t look as if any game will a cakewalk for them this season.
FanDuel has them pegged with the second-worst playoff odds (+790) among the 32 teams, ahead of only the Browns (+810).
