A certain top-ranked Lightweight Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contender will be back in play later this month, but it’s not what it seems.
Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC) officially announced today (Thurs., May 8, 2025) via social media that almost-Lightweight title challenger Arman Tsarukyan will grapple former Bellator Lightweight champion Patricky Pitbull at ADXC 10 on May 31, 2025 inside Voleybol’Naya Arena Dynamo in Moscow, Russia.
Tsarukyan will be the latest UFC fighter to grapple for ADXC, as Aljamain Sterling, Derek Brunson, and Muhammad Mokaev, among others, have competed in the past several months.

Tsarukyan aims to stay active as he seeks to regain the UFC’s favor after withdrawing from UFC 311 just one day before the event. Unfortunately, he appears to remain in the promotion’s doghouse, as they recently attempted to book him against No. 7-ranked Mateusz Gamrot.
Nevertheless, the 28-year-old is riding a four-fight win streak and has not competed in mixed martial arts (MMA) since UFC 300. Last weekend, he participated in a grappling match at Karate Combat 54, earning a lackluster unanimous decision victory.
Pitbull has been sidelined since going 0-2 in the PFL, with losses to Clay Collard and Bruno Miranda. The Brazilian was slated to compete in the GFL, but that event has been canceled.
