St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado is one of the best to ever play the position, winning 10 consecutive Gold Gloves between the 2013 and 2022 seasons. He showed why on Sunday night against the New York Mets.
That was when he made an incredible catch on a pop-foul off the bat of New York Mets outfielder Juan Soto.
Not only did Arenado have to cover a ton of ground from his original positioning, but he also made a running, over-the-shoulder basket catch and still managed to hold onto the ball as he toppled over the wall and fell into the front row of seats.
