Jamie Vardy could join Wrexham in the summer transfer window after leaving Leicester City, according to talkSPORT. Vardy will leave Leicester at the end of the season and will become a free agent, and there is speculation that the English striker could move to Welsh outfit Wrexham.
“Someone suggested to me this morning that if Wrexham get promoted they are going to make another TV show – don’t rule out Jamie Vardy going there,” journalist Alex Crook told talkSPORT on Friday.
Wrexham will play in the Championship next season after winning automatic promotion from League One. Leicester will play in the Championship in the 2025-26 campaign after getting relegated from the Premier League, which means that Vardy would face the Foxes if he were to make the switch to The Red Dragons. Vardy, 38, has scored 198 goals and given 69 assists in 497 appearances for Leicester so far in his career.
