The NFL Draft can be a bit of a slog to sit through if you’re following from the first pick all the way to the last, but throughout the journey to get plenty of heart-warming moments watching college prospects realize their dream of making it to the pros.
For the Seattle Seahawks, we’ve had some classics over the years. It doesn’t get much more emotional than seeing Shaquem Griffin get the call a year after his twin brother Shaquill was drafted.
Seattle had the opportunity to make 11 calls this season and even changed things up by having its first call (Grey Zabel) have the honors of talking to its 10th call (Mason Richman). It was humorous listening to Seahawks scout Aaron Hineline tell fifth-round Alabama fullback Robbie Ouzts, “Don’t shave the mustache. That’s part of the contract.”
