As if he couldn’t do it all already, Corbin Carroll has looked like one of the top power hitters in baseball through the first couple of weeks of the 2025 season.
The Diamondbacks outfielder has hit six long balls, which is tied for the fourth-most in the league.
Carroll, who hasn’t hit more than 25 homers in two full big league seasons, is mashing the ball like never before, increasing his hard-hit rate, barrel rate and average exit velocity by leaps and bounds.

Carroll is also pulling the ball much more and avoiding too many ground balls, which has helped him clear the wall at a much faster pace.
Arizona will face Marlins right-hander Edward Cabrera on Thursday in Miami in what could be yet another opportunity for Carroll to add to his April homer total.
