The summer transfer window is heating up, and two Premier League heavyweights — Arsenal and Chelsea — are gearing up for a thrilling tug-of-war over AC Milan’s explosive forward, Rafael Leao.

According to reports from TBR Football, both London clubs are eyeing the Portuguese star as a high-priority target to reinforce their left flank. With Leao reportedly open to a new challenge, this could be a golden opportunity for either side to make a statement signing.

Leao: The Consistent Spark in Milan’s Attack

Since swapping Lille for Milan, Leao has grown into a key figure for the Rossoneri. This season alone, the 24-year-old has featured in 43 matches, notching up an impressive 10 goals and 9 assists. His blend of pace, flair, and creativity makes him a nightmare for defenders — and an asset any top side would crave.

Despite being under contract until 2028, Leao’s future remains uncertain. His camp is believed to be exploring options that align with a more ambitious sporting project — and both Chelsea and Arsenal tick that box.

Chelsea and Arsenal Both Ready to Pounce

Chelsea’s interest comes at a time when Mykhailo Mudryk is suspended, and they are reportedly cooling on the idea of a permanent move for Jadon Sancho. Arsenal, meanwhile, are prioritising a right-footed left-winger to balance their attack alongside Bukayo Saka.

With Andrea Berta now in the Gunners’ sporting director seat, Arsenal are pushing ahead on multiple fronts. While Nico Williams remains their top target, Leao is firmly on their radar, and talks behind the scenes have already begun.

A Transfer Battle Worth Watching

As things stand, both Arsenal and Chelsea are seriously in the mix for Leao. His next move could be one of the defining stories of the summer — and whichever club lands him could end up with one of Europe’s most electrifying wide players.
