A Lightweight firefight has been added to UFC 315.
No. 13-ranked Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight Benoit Saint Denis will put his ranking on the line against Spanish standout Joel Alvarez on Sat., May 10, 2025, at UFC 315, which is set to take place inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Saint-Denis (13-3-1) has fallen on tough times, getting brutally finished in his two last fights, against Dustin Poirier at UFC 299 (watch highlights) and most recently against Renato Moicano in his first UFC main event.
Prior to his two-fight skid, “God of War” went on a five-fight win streak, where he finished Matt Frevola, Thiago Moises, and Ismael Bonfim, among others.
The French fighter holds a 100% rate with nine submissions and four knockouts.

Like “BSD,” Alvarez (22-3) also has a 100% finish rate, with 17 submissions and five knockouts, and has looked absolutely stellar in his UFC career, other than getting destroyed by Arman Tsarukyan back in 2022.
“El Fenomeno” is riding a three-fight win streak with victories over Marc Diakiese, Elves Brener and Drakkar Klose.
This fight will be violent for along as it lasts.
