A major relief pitcher and fan favorite for the Los Angeles Dodgers revealed that he almost retired before he made his way to L.A. Since his 2017 debut, he only made an Opening Day roster once before becoming a Dodger.

His ramping up process was halted at the end of spring to better prepare to be designated hitter, but he has since thrown his first bullpen since February.
