Four fighters earned performance-based bonuses for their wins on Saturday on UFC Mexico: Moreno vs. Erceg fight card in Mexico City.

Half of the four post-event bonuses, two of them, went to octagon newcomers. The bonus recipients were announced during the event’s post-fight press conference.

Middleweight Ateba Gautier showed up and showed out in his promotional debut. Gautier delivered a knee up the middle in the opening round against Jose Daniel Medina that connected cleanly. Medina crumbled to the canvas. It was impressive enough to earn Gautier an extra $50,000.

David Martinez debut in the organization didn’t last a full round. Martinez took out Saimon Oliveira with a knee followed by punches, punching his ticket to added revenue.

Flyweight Édgar Cháirez earned a bonus check for his first-round finish over C.J. Vergara in main card action. After hurting Vergara with punches, Chairez locked on a face crack that forced the tap out.

Manuel Torres made quick work of UFC veteran Drew Dober in the lightweight co-main event. A right hand put Dober in trouble and a series of hammer fists to his head while he hung on to a single leg ended the fight in the first round. Torres picked up the biggest win of his career and banked a bonus.

19,731 spectators made up a sold-out crowd inside Arena CDMX setting an arena record for gate sales. The event marked the seventh time the fight promotion hosted an event in Mexico City.
