South London meets west London as Fulham host Crystal Palace in the first of this season’s FA Cup quarter-finals, with a place at Wembley and the last four up for grabs.

The Cottagers are currently six points and four places above the Eagles in the Premier League table, although Oliver Glasner’s side ran out 2-0 winners when the two sides last met in February.

Four of this season’s FA Cup quarter-finalists have never lifted the famous trophy, of which Fulham and Palace are two.

Fulham reached their only FA Cup final to date in 1975, while Palace have twice been runners-up – in 1990 and 2016 – losing to Manchester United on both occasions.

Fulham edged out Palace’s cup heartbreakers at Old Trafford on penalties in the last round. Palace, meanwhile, overcame Millwall 3-1 despite a nasty injury to striker Jean-Philippe Mateta.

Here are how to the two teams line-up for this cup clash in the capital.

Fulham team news

Midfielder Sasa Lukic is available for the hosts after suspension, partnering Sander Berge in the middle of the park.

Lukic sat out of Fulham’s previous two Premier League games before the international break after picking up his 10th yellow card of the season.

Centre-back Joachim Andersen lines up against his former club, while manager Marco Silva gives Rodrigo Muniz the nod over Raul Jimenez in attack.

Crystal Palace team news

The big team news for Palace is that top-scorer Mateta returns from the nasty head injury suffered in the previous round.

The 27-year-old French striker has scored 15 times in all competitions this term, and will wear a protective helmet.

Palace have come up against opposition from three different divisions in the FA Cup so far this season. And Glazner opts for a strong line-up, with Daniel Munoz, Adam Wharton and Eberechi Eze – each having impressive seasons and the latter buoyed by scoring his first senior England goal on Monday – all included in the starting eleven.
