The Jets added some experience to their wide receivers room on Thursday, signing free agent Josh Reynolds.

Aaron Rodgers’ decision is bad news for one other veteran QB

Reynolds, 30, knows new Jets coach Aaron Glenn and offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand from his time with the Lions from 2021-23.

New Jets general manager Darren Mougey also is familiar with Reynolds from last season when Reynolds played five games for the Broncos, where Mougey was the assistant GM.

Reynolds has played for the Rams, Titans, Lions, Broncos and Jaguars in his eight-year career.

He has 233 career receptions for 3,127 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Last season, he split the year between the Broncos and Jaguars and had 13 catches for 194 yards and one touchdown.

The Jets have very little experience at receiver on their roster after cutting Davante Adams this offseason.

Garrett Wilson is entering his fourth season and is the team’s No. 1 receiver but, at the moment, Xavier Gipson, Tyler Johnson and Malachi Corley are the other top receivers on the team.

Allen Lazard is still on the Jets roster but is not expected to be with the team this season.

The NFL Network reported the deal for Reynolds is one year and can be worth up to $5 million.

The Jaguars released Reynolds on March 7.
