Newcastle United are reportedly eyeing a summer swoop for Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, according to Give Me Sport. The Magpies are searching for a new wide attacker, and the 23-year-old has emerged as a key target.

Madueke’s Chelsea Career So Far

Since arriving from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023, Madueke has shown glimpses of his talent but has struggled for consistency at Chelsea. The London-born winger, who previously came through the youth ranks at Crystal Palace and Tottenham, has contributed to 12 goals (8 goals, 4 assists) in 28 appearances this season.

Despite his potential, Madueke has yet to establish himself as a first-choice starter at Chelsea. His performances have attracted interest from several top clubs, including AC Milan, but Newcastle United are now keen to beat the competition for his signature.

Why Newcastle Want Madueke

Newcastle United’s interest in Madueke is long-standing, especially after failing to replace Miguel Almirón, who left in the January transfer window. The Magpies are keen to bolster their attacking options, with names like Johan Bakayoko also on their shortlist.

However, it remains to be seen if Chelsea will be willing to sell the young attacker. Earlier reports suggested that the Blues wanted to offer him a new contract, meaning Newcastle may have to submit a convincing offer to secure his services.
