We tested 37 drivers for 2025 and the Tour Edge Exotics E725 is the most accurate. To determine accuracy, we measure straight-shot percentage and playable-shot percentage. Straight-shot percentage tracks shots that hit into a defined target area that gradually widens as distance increases from the tee. Playable-shot percentage counts shots that finish within a 35-yard-wide fairway or within 10 yards of its edge. These three drivers will help you hit your target more consistently.
Most accurate: Tour Edge Exotics E725
The most accurate driver of 2025 is the Tour Edge Exotics E725. It leads the 2025 test in playable- and straight-shot percentages.
The trade-off with accuracy is often distance. How much are you willing to give up to find a piece of the fairway?
The longest driver of the year, the Titleist GT2, averaged 252.02 yards of total distance while the Tour Edge Exotics E725 averaged 245.74 yards.
Accuracy isn’t the only strength of the E725. It also ranks in the top half of our test for forgiveness or consistency. In addition, it’s priced at $399, making it one of the best-value drivers of 2025.

Buy this if:
You prioritize accuracy and consistently hitting playable shots over pure distance.
You struggle with big misses off the tee and want a driver that keeps the ball in play.
Don’t buy this if:
You want maximum distance off the tee, the E725 ranks below average in distance.
You already generate high spin with your driver.
Second-most accurate driver: Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond
The Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond driver was the second-most accurate driver of 2025 and the best overall driver in the test. That combination of distance and accuracy is hard to find.
It averages 251.76 yards for total distance, less than half a yard short of the longest driver of the year. Forgiveness in the Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond was its lowest performance metric but it still finished in the top half of the test for 2025.
There are two downsides to the Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond. The first is the $649 price and the second is the glossy finish on the crown. Some golfers did not like the top-down look and the way it transitions into the clubface.

Buy this if:
You want the best overall driver. Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond is the Most Wanted driver of 2025.
You care about playability across different swing speeds. Despite being a “low-spin” model, it offers consistency and forgiveness.
Don’t buy this if:
You’re particular about aesthetics. The gloss profile and topline transition had mixed reviews.
Third-most accurate driver: PING G440 SFT
The PING G440 SFT is the third-most accurate driver of 2025. It finished seventh overall in the test. Its weakest performance characteristic was overall distance. The total average carry distance from the PING G440 SFT was 246.34 yards.

Buy this if:
You struggle with a slice. The SFT is a draw-biased model.
You want a forgiving and high-launch driver that offers consistent ball flight.
Don’t buy this if:
You’re looking for the longest driver.
You already draw or hook your shots. This draw-biased driver is probably not the right fit.
Final thoughts
