Judging by the reactions, TGL fulfilled the fans’ expectations, even though there were many different reactions during the season. Some are delighted with the novelties that TGL has brought, while others are not particularly happy with such things. The creators of the competition, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy did not excel at this competition, but regardless, they are delighted with how everything turned out, hoping that next year can be just as exciting.
Tiger Woods’ team, Jupiter Links, did not continue the competition, but they strongly feel that the following seasons can be significantly better.
Max Homa, a member of his team, decided to reveal how Tiger behaves in their group chat. The American confirmed that Woods is not quiet in the group as some think.
The 49-year-old is there to motivate his teammates, and he seems to be great at it. Even though his team wasn’t doing well, Tiger wanted to raise their morale in the right way.
“No, Tiger’s not [quiet]. He’s the boss, so he’s firing everybody up. I mean, he was pretty funny. We were out, we couldn’t make the playoffs anymore, so I was texting the group kind of like, ‘what the hell is the point of this?’ And he was like, ‘well, let’s take this anger out on them. Let’s go beat them’. And I was just thinking to myself, you’ve really got nothing to do right now, this is probably a big thing. I’ve got to play Bay Hill in two days. So that was funny,” he said, as quoted by The Golfing Gazette.
Max Homa: He actually leads the chat
Their group clearly has a lot of interesting moments that Homa is delighted with. Tiger, besides his desire for success, is also a person who knows how to joke and make his teammates laugh.
“He actually leads the chat. Kis is obviously very funny in there. I think me and Tom more or less are just along for the ride wherever they take us. They both like to talk a lot of trash.”- he concluded.
