Kash Patel wants FBI agents to be trained by UFC fighters and Dana White has now shared his reaction to the request.

Patel believes the United States law enforcement can be boosted in several areas. The 45-year-old will now put his plans into motion after becoming the ninth director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation—with mixed martial arts set to play a huge role.

Several UFC fighters have expressed an interest in helping serve their country by training FBI agents.

For the first time since Kash Patel’s comments became public, Dana White has shared his opinion on the idea.

“Well, after [Patel] said that, my phone blew up,” White said in response to the rumored FBI and UFC partnership. “Everybody wants to be the trainers to the FBI now.”

“But he’s dead serious about that. I talked to him about it tonight. Yeah, he’s dead serious.”

“So, we’ll see. We’ll see how that starts to come together.”

Alongside many athletes on the UFC roster, Dana White seems fond of the plan to integrate a different level of combat sports into the law enforcement agency.

The UFC is home to countless men and women who are proud to represent the United States of America by any means necessary.

One man who has thrown his name into the hat to help train FBI agents going forward is former interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje.

The fan-favorite spoke of his interest in helping the officers during the build-up to UFC 311. On Saturday, the proud American earned a much-needed victory over Rafael Fiziev—beating the Azerbaijani for the second time and moving closer to a shot at the lightweight title.

Having a top-level professional breaking bread with the FBI’s elite will undoubtedly be a boost to the security service.
