Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson is open to leaving the club in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The Brazil international would be open to joining a club in the Saudi Pro League and sign a last big contract in his career, with his current deal with Man City running out in the summer of 2026.
Ederson has been on the books of Man City since 2017 when he joined from Portuguese giants Benfica. The 31-year-old has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers on the planet and is widely considered as world class. The Brazil international has made a total of 361 appearances for Man City so far in his career. He has kept 162 clean sheets in those games.
Man City are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 47 points from 28 matches. Pep Guardiola’s side are a point ahead of Chelsea, who are currently fifth and have played 27 games. Man City went down 1-0 to Nottingham Forest away from home at the City Ground in the Premier League on Saturday.
