Arsenal are interested in signing Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that the Gunners are planning to open talks over a deal for the Argentina international striker.
Martinez is one of the best strikers in the world. Arsenal’s incoming sporting director Andrea Berta is a big fan of the World Cup winner with Argentina and wanted to sign him for Atletico Madrid when he was in charge of recruitment at the Spanish club.
The 27-year-old has been at Inter since 2018 and has developed into a superb striker. Martinez has scored 146 goals and given 49 assists in 329 matches in all competitions for the Serie A club. The striker has scored 17 goals and provided six assists in 38 appearances so far this season.
