2025 Spring Racing/Training Program, May 13, 2025, week 9, day 2, Ninth Week of the season, Tuesday is the hard day!

This weekend is the Coles Australian Little Athletics Championships – ALAC, the annual National Little Athletics Championships. Comprising of Saturday and Sunday competition days, State Member Associations select and send athletes from 3 age groups (U13, U14, U15 able-bodied and Multi-Class) to represent their ‘State Team’, to compete for their allocated ALAC age group Trophy.

Featuring Team activities, Opening and Closing Ceremonies with Teams Marching, Team Chants, the athletic competition along with social interactions, ALAC provides athletes and their families with an outstanding experience.  ALAC has a wonderful history dating back to 1973 and has provided memories for many athletes and continues to grow and develop.

ALAC Trophies consist of:

U13 highest overall – Trevor Billingham Trophy

U13 points adjusted – Alan Triscott Trophy

U14 points adjusted – Dick Healey Trophy

U15 highest overall – Maxine Boyd Trophy

U15 Combined Events highest overall – Life Members Trophy
